Maybe things will get better. Or maybe if I break up with him, then I will regret it and he will never take me back. Every relationship has ups and downs, but it can be hard sometimes to figure out whether or not you should break up with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Breaking up is hard. Think about how many songs people have written about a broken heart? The love you feel can be strong; but sometimes the people who we love let us down. Most of the time things are not black and white.

Questions to Consider Before You Get Engaged
Commodity prices fell dramatically. Trade was disrupted by pirates, leading to the First Barbary War. Along with trade restrictions imposed by the British, shipping-related industries were hard hit.
“Saying ‘I love you’ happens on average at five months of dating ( days)” British daters also see days as the perfect time to embark on a more modern dating milestone: updating their social media relationship status ( days).
No texting, no calling, no emails, no in-person meetings, no checking social media, no asking others for life updates, absolutely nothing. You are a ghost to me now. I no longer think of you, for several hours at a time. You don’t cross my mind at work anymore. You come and go during my commute but only in passing. I stopped having imaginary conversations with you.
Live fully. Every day.
I slide my laptop over and pace. Force myself to stop. Then pace some more. I check the time on the wall clock. I check the time on my watch. I check the time on my phone.
After three months with someone, you begin to settle down. You begin to relax some. You let down your guard, you act more like who you really are. They do too — you learn who they are, day-in and day-out. You learn where they have moles on their legs, and birthmarks on their backs. After three.
It’s time to start considering yourselves common-law married, a sort of “marriage-like” status that triggers when you’ve lived together for seven years. For one, common-law marriage, which traces its roots to old English law, isn’t a nationwide thing. It exists in only a small number of states. Unless you live in one of those states, getting hitched will involve an official “I do” ceremony.
Alabama had been one of the states that recognize common-law marriages, but it recently moved to abolish it, a trend that has been taking place nationwide for years. Also, that common-law marriage kicks in after partners live together for a certain period of time? That’s a flat-out myth. That means you may be passing on the big expensive party or the dreamy walk down the aisle, but common-law marriage is as real and legal as marriage gets.
It means you are eligible for all of the economic and legal goodies afforded to couples with marriage licenses — like tax breaks and inheritance rights. But if you break up, you need to get divorced. As in, a traditional divorce.

I wrote about what it is here. I wrote about what men are thinking about during it here. A few days ago one of my coaching clients contacted me with an interesting request. She basically told me that most of the women who implement the no contact rule end up contacting their exes first after the no contact rule is over. For example, lets say that you were to use the no contact rule on your ex boyfriend for 30 days.
Well, this woman was curious as to what was going on in the mind of a man AFTER the no contact rule had already be implemented. In other words, what would your ex boyfriend be thinking after you had successfully performed the no contact rule on him?
My girlfriend and I haven’t had sex in 5 months
Shutterstock My husband and I are a young couple. We got married a year ago. And we met on a dating site. When people ask us how we met and when we met, there are a lot of other questions and assumptions hidden behind that question.
That wonderful, fervent excitement. The butterflies fluttering in your stomach. But is it Love? The first stage of love is infatuation. This is the stuff of romantic novels, Hollywood movies and celebrity gossip. Infatuation is intense, with a passionate buzz, but all good things come to an end, and so it is with the buzz of infatuation. It is a fact of life that we wake up to one morning and find the excitement gone. In fiction the development of their relationship, the actual nitty-gritty of life, is left hanging.
If we do not wind down we will become dysfunctional and burn out emotionally. No relationship on Earth can flourish if no effort is put in. Expecting feelings by themselves to keep a marriage together is unrealistic.
